  2. Attended Advance diploma in bioinformatics course from University of Pune in 2003.
  3. Master of Science in Environmental Botany (Plant Ecology) from Mumbai University in 2002.
  4. Bachelor of Science in Botany from Mumbai University in 2000.

RESEARCH SKILLS

  1. Competency in biological data management using relational database management systems.
  2. Taxonomic, ecosystems and indigenous traditional knowledge specific database designing and development.
  3. Networking with institutions and individuals for biodiversity and ethnobotanical information collation.
  4. Ecological modeling using DIVA, GARP and Maxent along with GIS based mapping using Mapserver, ArcGIS 9.
  5. Collation, curation and validation of biodiversity, biogeographical, ethnobotanical and phytochemical data.
  6. Strong ability to understand, integrate and analyse complex and varied biodiversity data.
